Biografi Singkat

Sastia Prama Putri adalah Assistant Professor di Departemen Biote- knologi, Fakultas Teknik, Osaka University dan dosen luar biasa di Sekolah Ilmu dan Teknologi Hayati, Institut Teknologi Bandung. Sastia mendapatkan gelar doktornya di bidang Bioteknologi di tahun 2010 dari International Center for Biotechnology, Osaka University. Saat ini Sastia memimpin grup aplikasi metabolomik untuk biote- knologi mikroba khususnya untuk produksi biofuel dan untuk produk pangan khas Indonesia. Sastia bekerja di bawah naungan mentor Prof. Eiichiro Fukusaki yang merupakan salah satu pioneer metabo- lomik di ilmu pangan. Ia turut mendirikan Formind Institute di tahun 2016 2016 dan saat ini aktif menjadi board member dari International Metabolomics Society sejak tahun 2013. Ia memenangkan penghargaan L’Oreal for Women in Science di tahun 2015 untuk riset tentang aplikasi metabolomik untuk kopi Indonesia dan Osaka University award di tahun 2018 sebagai penghargaan untuk dosen berprestasi yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan untuk merintis berbagai kerjasama akademik maupun riset dengan institusi luar negeri terutama di Indonesia.
