Biografi Singkat

Fatwa F. Abdi adalah senior scientist, group leader dan deputy head di Institute for Solar Fuels, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB), Berlin, Germany. Ia meraih gelar Bachelor of Engineering dari Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Master of Science dari National University of Singapore (NUS), dan Master of Engineering dari Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), semuanya di bidang Materials Science and Engineering. Setelah sempat bekerja di industri semikonduktor, ia melanjutkan studi di Department of Chemical Engineering TU Delft, Belanda, dan memperoleh gelar PhD cum laude pada tahun 2013. Ia adalah penerima Singapore-MIT Alliance fellowship (2005) dan Martinus van Marum prize (2014) dari Royal Dutch Society of Sciences and Humanities. Risetnya telah menghasilkan lebih dari 50 publikasi di jurnal internasional (Nature Communications, Energy of Environmental Science, Chemical Society Reviews, dll), satu bab buku, dan satu aplikasi paten (h-index 23).
