Albertus Denny Handoko is a Scientist at Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, A*STAR. He gained his core competency in solvothermal and hydrothermal synthesis method, and X-ray characterisation of materials during his PhD studies at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
He then went for postdoctoral research fellowship at University College London (UK) and National University of Singapore where he gained research experience and developed keen interest in photo- and electrochemistry.
His current research effort is dedicated to understanding advanced electrocatalytic system for renewable energy conversion reactions such as CO2 reduction, water splitting and purification. He has strong publication track record, with 2 patent applications and 41 articles published to date in prestigious international journals such as Nature Catalysis and Materials Today, garnering >1800 citations with H-index of 18.
